Conceptiones

For professionals

A creative and production partner within the project team

Conceptiones works with art consultants, architects and interior designers to develop and produce artwork for a defined spatial and project context.

We adapt our contribution to the responsibilities already established—supporting the creative direction, protecting confidential project information and respecting the relationship between each professional and their client.

01 · Art consultants

Extend your creative and production capacity

We support art consultants as a specialist creative and production resource. Your direction, client relationship and role within the project remain central; our purpose is to add the artistic, material and production capacity required to carry the approved vision forward.

Conceptiones can contribute to one defined workstream or support a broader artwork programme. This may include artist and artwork research, bespoke development, fine art editions, samples, production, framing and delivery coordination.

Where we can contribute

  • Develop original artwork in response to your approved curatorial or creative direction.
  • Source available original works and existing fine art editions, including photographic prints.
  • Identify and coordinate suitable artists, makers and specialist production partners.
  • Produce museum-quality editions for projects requiring consistency across larger quantities.
  • Develop samples, prototypes, dimensions, materials and presentation details for review.
  • Coordinate production information, framing, packaging and agreed delivery requirements.
  • Protect confidential project information and communicate within the responsibilities established by the project team.

What remains with you

The art consultant retains the curatorial direction, client relationship and approval framework unless another responsibility is explicitly agreed for the project. Conceptiones does not present itself as a substitute for the appointed consultant.

02 · Architects & interior designers

Artwork developed in dialogue with the interior

We translate spatial and design intent into original artwork, editions and material solutions. Architecture, interior concept, palette, lighting and scale provide the working context for each proposal.

Conceptiones can work from an established concept or join earlier while the artwork locations and direction are still being defined.

Where we can contribute

  • Develop bespoke artwork around the architectural and interior-design concept.
  • Select available original works and existing painting, graphic-art or photographic editions.
  • Commission original work or a dedicated photographic series for the project.
  • Adapt scale, colour direction, material and presentation to the intended environment.
  • Develop samples and prototypes for integration with the material palette.
  • Coordinate specialist production, fine art printing and bespoke framing.
  • Prepare artwork packages around the agreed project programme and delivery scope.

Designed to complement, not compete

Our aim is to create artwork that strengthens the original concept without competing with it. Design decisions are developed collaboratively and remain aligned with the approvals and responsibilities of the wider project team.

03 · Hospitality & real estate

A direct artwork solution when no consultant is appointed

For hotels, restaurants, workplaces, residential developments and other commercial environments, Conceptiones can develop an artwork response directly when no art consultant or design professional is already leading the art programme.

We begin by understanding the property, audience, interior direction, quantities, programme and budget. From there, we define a suitable combination of available original artworks, existing fine art editions and project-specific commissions.

Where we can contribute

  • Translate the project brief and interior direction into an artwork approach.
  • Select and supply available original works.
  • Plan existing museum-quality painting, graphic-art and photographic editions for multiple spaces.
  • Commission original artwork or dedicated photography for signature locations.
  • Coordinate artists, specialist production, samples, framing and presentation.
  • Structure coherent artwork groups across guestrooms, shared areas or multiple property zones.
  • Coordinate packaging and delivery around the agreed programme.

When a professional team is already appointed

If an art consultant, architect or interior designer is already leading the project, Conceptiones works through the agreed team structure and does not bypass the appointed professional.

Artwork options

Three artwork routes

The appropriate route depends on the space, creative direction, quantity, programme and budget. One project may use a single route or combine all three.

Existing original artworks

Select an available original work from painting, works on paper, photography, ceramics, sculpture and mixed media.

Existing fine art editions

Choose museum-quality editions from existing painting, graphic art and photography. This route is particularly effective when a consistent artist-led solution is required across larger quantities.

Bespoke commissions

Commission an original artwork or dedicated photographic series developed specifically for the interior concept and intended location.

How we work together

Clear roles. Shared standards.

Respect for direction

We work within the creative, curatorial and design direction established for the project and raise questions when an artwork decision requires clarification.

Confidentiality

We treat project information, unpublished concepts, commercial context and client relationships with discretion. Any formal confidentiality terms are agreed separately where required.

Material clarity

Artwork, edition, substrate, finish, framing and approval requirements are documented before production proceeds.

Scalable production

We consider quantity, consistency, cost and programme without reducing the artistic character of the work.

Traceable approvals

Samples, proofs and production decisions are aligned with the approval path agreed for each project.

  • The appointed consultant, architect or interior-design team, where applicable.
  • Interior concept, drawings, renders or material references available for review.
  • Spaces, approximate dimensions and indicative artwork quantities.
  • Desired route: existing originals, existing editions, bespoke commissions or a combination.
  • Relevant subjects, media, atmosphere or colour direction.
  • Programme, decision milestones and required delivery period.
  • Indicative budget range.
  • Confidentiality or communication requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Can Conceptiones work under the direction of an appointed art consultant?

Yes. We can act as a specialist creative and production resource while the consultant retains the curatorial direction, approval framework and client relationship.

Can you join only for production or another defined stage?

Yes. The scope may cover a specific workstream—such as fine art printing, sampling, framing or production—or a wider artwork programme agreed with the project team.

How do you handle confidential project information?

We treat unpublished concepts, project information and client relationships with discretion. Formal confidentiality terms are agreed separately where a project requires them.

Do we need a finished artwork brief before contacting you?

No. Early plans, renders, material references, approximate quantities and the decisions already made are enough to begin a useful conversation.

Can hotel owners or developers work with Conceptiones directly?

Yes, when no art consultant or design professional is already leading the artwork programme. Where a professional team is appointed, we work through the agreed responsibilities and communication structure.
