Why Conceptiones
A specialised response to a growing need
Creative Corporation and Dan Andrei were receiving a growing number of requests for artwork conceived for hotels, restaurants, workplaces, residences and other interiors. Conceptiones grew from that work.
ArtHalle Gallery had already created a meeting point for artists, ideas and audiences, and many of the relationships behind later collaborations began there. As the projects became more frequent and more complex, a dedicated entity was needed to connect creative direction, artists, materials and production around the requirements of a space.
Conceptiones was established to fulfil that role.

Every work begins with an act of imagination.
Conceptiones speaks of ideas taking form—not a single vision, but many possible ways of seeing, interpreting and creating.
We believe art should never be an afterthought. It can begin with an existing original, continue through a carefully produced edition, or emerge as a work conceived specifically for a place. Whatever its form, it must retain the presence, intention and individuality of its source.
This is where creativity becomes tangible: an idea becomes an image, a material, an object, a surface or an atmosphere. Originality is not simply the promise that something is new. It is the ability to create a meaningful relationship between the work, the space and the people who experience it.
Because no space is neutral. What we place within it influences how it is perceived, inhabited and remembered.
Art defines spaces. Spaces shape experience. And experience, ultimately, shapes our humanity.
What we do
Artistic direction made physical
We develop original artwork, coordinate collaborations with artists and makers, and guide ideas through materials, prototypes and production. Our capabilities include bespoke artwork, art production, sourcing and supply, limited-edition museum-quality fine art prints, technical development and delivery coordination.
The scope may be a singular work for a specific location or a coherent artwork programme across hundreds of rooms. The work must retain its creative intent while answering the architecture, quantities, programme and budget of the project.

Part of the project team
Conceptiones works primarily with art consultants, architects and interior designers. We contribute where our creative and production capabilities add value, while respecting the direction, responsibilities, client relationships and confidential information already established within the project team.
When an owner or developer approaches us directly, we can develop an artwork response from the initial brief through production and delivery coordination.
Founder & Creative Director
Dan Andrei
Dan Andrei is the founder and creative director of Conceptiones and the principal public voice of the brand.
Dan's work spans artistic practice, creative direction and the development of artwork for real interiors. His individual practice, Creative Corporation and ArtHalle Gallery have also built the working relationships across art, design and production on which Conceptiones draws.
Dan leads the creative direction of Conceptiones, approves the artists and collaborators involved, and remains closely engaged with the development of each project.
Network
Built through collaboration
Conceptiones works with an evolving network of artists, makers and specialist production partners. The collaborators and production methods are selected in relation to each brief.
The network includes painting, drawing and graphic work, photography, sculpture, ceramics, illustration, mixed media, specialist framing and museum-quality fine art printing.

Conceptiones is a European company active internationally, collaborating remotely and directly with professional project teams according to the needs, location and delivery model of each commission.
